Yilan’s June 2026 Dragon Boat Festival brought together riverside races, cultural activities, and seasonal gatherings. Come take a look at the celebrations around Dongshan.
2026 Yilan County Dragon Boat Championships
The county’s celebration opened with a dragon-boat blessing ceremony on June 4, 2026, honoring the festival’s traditions before the races.
The championships took place at Dongshan River Water Park on June 19–20, 2026. The county announced 78 teams and more than 1,600 team members and staff.
Alongside the competitive divisions, an experience category gave more participants a chance to enjoy paddling together. The event brought sport and traditional culture to the riverside.
